Beauty procedures that can be performed by trained beauticians include chemical peels, cellulite and shape control, hair removal, microdermabrasion and nutritional advice. Cosmetic surgery and aesthetic procedures can only be performed by plastic surgeons or oculoplastic surgeons who are specially trained in botulinum toxin A, dermal filler injections and eyelid surgeries.
